Newbie here <------- My name is Casey but all my boys know me by True.

I roll a 1996 Turbo (FWD) Nissan 200sx that makes 421whp 370 ft lb. @ a catostrophic 25 psi. I am parting it out at the moment to buy parts for my brand new 2008 Pontiac G8 GT. I figured since I'm pushing 30, I should be driving something a little more adult. I looked into japanese and euro imports with V8's, but fell in love with the G8's looks and nice price tag. It's not as fast as my rice rocket, but it's fully loaded and has tons of fuckin room!! And you gotta love the 6.0 L76. I plan on lowering it and adding a nice set of rims and most likely the New Era DOD cam and a Corsa catback once its ready, im not sure if i want to purchace a CAI or save the money toward my forced induction goals. I love the sound of having an APS turbo kit, but I also like the looks and power delivery of the Pro Charger system. Since I have to finish parting out my Nissan and save money it'll will probally be about a year until this happens but until then I'll continue to do research on the Maggie, Pro Charger, and APS turbokit and take into consideration the thoughts of other members and local shops.

Welcome,

The L76 has a TON of potential, there are stroker motors pushing out 600-700+ RWHP on those motors with worked stock heads and intake

I doubt you'll regret the change up, other than when you first get the G8 and it feels slow compared to the 200. But do some work to it, throw some boost at it and you'll come around real quick.

I don't regret it one bit especially since I have tons of room, a stereo and comfortable seats. As far as power goes compared to my 200sx it want be anything a little forced induction cant handle.

You got the idea. Not like the G8 is lacking in that much power.
