Isn't the camaro a 2 door variant of the G8 made in the USA with different sheetmetal and interior.

The G8 gets you the auto L76, or your choice of auto/manual LS3 with the GXP.

The Camaro gets you the L99 or LS3.

From what I'm reading the L99 is the 6.2L US version of the L76 (AFM and all) with some tweaks and revised HP ratings. All of those engines are very similar, the major difference other than slight displacement, is AFM or lack of, and OEM cam size.

It's about time the F-BODY returns. Way cool. I heard the Z/28 will have around 540hp !...............SIC.

lol, the SS is only ~430 and its only as much an Fbody, as my car is a GTO.

thats what they said about GTOs. I got mine right when it hit the dealership. just go outside of the city to smaller towns in nevada that have a dealer ship and you should be ale to get one, when they come out. Only thing is they might not have the exact one you want. When I bought my GTO they just had 2, mine and a black one. I was like they only GTO I ever saw in vegas for like a year, and everyone would ask me how did I get it so fast.
