Im selling the 4r75W transmission that came out of my car with 65K miles on it. I put a fully built 4R70W in my car with 4000K converter. Tranny shifted fine but the converter is done. It was slipping and shuddering all over the place. Found out when we pulled it. This would be a good transmission to built up and slap into a cobra or anyone wanting an auto car for the track. Internals are a lot stronger then the 4R70W to support more torque and horsepower. 4R75W is a very popular swap among cobra guys. Its used in following applications from Ford.

2003

* 4R75W used in Mercury Marauder, V8 Mustang (GT and Mach 1), and 5.4 L trucks (F150, Van, and Expedition)
* 4R70W used in all other applications (V6 Mustang, 4.6 L Van, 4.2 L F150, 4.6 L F150, and Crown Vic/Grand Marquis/Towncar)

2004

* 4R75E used in 5.4 L-3v F150
* 4R70E used in 4.6 L F150 (except F150 Heritage)
* 4R75W used in Mercury Marauder, V8 Mustang (GT and Mach 1), and 5.4 L-2v trucks (Van, and Expedition)
