A new southwestern fbody club. Open any f-body 1967-2011.

We're trying to create a unity of people who all have a passion for their f body! Without sounding too cheezy come check us out. We're hoping to grow to help each other with out builds or future builds. Also to set up meets in major cities in the southwest to where everyone can connect. Come check it out guys. As many of you f body guys may have noticed the previous site seems to have shut down..

Goodluck the fbody clubs seem to have trouble staying alive out here

Yeah that's why we tried something a little different with a regional club vs. just a local club. We'll see how it goes.

Good luck, you will need it. F-Body clubs don't seen to last like LV-F-Body did.

What they said, lol

The reason all car clubs, not just F-Body clubs, last is two-fold:
1. Leadership
2. The members

if either suck, the club sucks...

look how fast LVF went tits up after Dave stepped down.

but I do have to ask, where is SWFBody based out of?
are you planning on rotating meetings in different towns??

If the members cant get together, hang out and get to know one another, then the members wont feel like they are part of a club.

With that being said, I'm interested. I'm always willing to be part of an F-Body club....

The club is based out of vegas. We're going to try to get links together on the website to all the major car clubs in the Southwest. The club is only a few days old so the site is still growing and changing. Come sign up buddy!

And yes after we get a larger member base we would like to plan trips to surring major cities (continue LA invasion, phoenix, etc..) Basically whatever local clubs would like to plan a major event. Maybe 5 or so a year in other cities and weekly or biweekly events here in vegas.

I think the smarter and easier thing to do would be to just join this club, instead of coming on this forum and advertising another...

that being said I dont even think there are any f-bodies here...

After being around the F-Body clubs since 03, I have seen the attendance of any of them dwindle significantly. The best thing to do is to merge into another club.5th GENS club LV ? I do not even think they have large local following. They aren't even F-Bodies anyway. If you ever noticed LS1 Tech does not even have local meets in LV.
This club has a good mix of everything and the turnout for the most part is pretty good.

I went on a Sin City Vette meet/cruise and we had around 30 cars.COOL.

I am not saying ANY club is better than another. What i am saying is that The F-Bodies have had a LOW following as of late and they would do better to merge with a bigger group.

NO DISRESPECT IS MEANT HERE AND I WISH YOUR CLUB THE BEST ! ( I EVEN REGISTERED ON YOUR BOARD.)

4Th GENS ROCK !!!

I am a member of this club and have even attended a cruise. I try to come out to the meets if I am free/my car is up a running. I am just trying to start up another club of f bodies. Just as there is a link for LVCFO on here, I was hoping there could be one for this site, especially considering that site isn't up anymore. I wasn't trying to take away from this club in anyway just trying to bring the local f bodies together, and keep contact with a lot of the current f body enthusiasts. If the mods/admin of this site do not want this club promoted on their site that's fine..
And there are f bodies on here..brandon has a TA, Mac, Tim, and others that I don't know personally.

Thanks Rick! lol
