I was browsing through Wal-Mart.. (I know, it turns my stomach being at Wal-Mart) and noticed on the magazine rack a copy of this months Motor Trend with a bright blue Vette on the front with a 600+HP claim. Supposed to be when they are done with it Ferrari, Lambo and a few others should be seeing twin flags in front of them more than behind them. Anybody else hear about this article? This car looks just downright vicious. Oh, and they had an article about the new Malibu too.. Got very good reviews from MT.

Goto corvetteforum.com and there are gazillion posts about the car. It is a Z06 frame with 6.2 LS3 block, latest intercooled eaton blower at 10.5 psi, power to be over 600hp, and 200+mph. Lots of carbon fiber pieces on the roof, hood, spoilers and shit. They put on this $60k per gallon clear coats on the trims pieces to keep them from fading. Er.. what else, the ceramic brakes are same as Bugatti Veyron and Ferrari FXX. Uses 2nd gen mag shocks, softer then Z06 springs, 3400 lbs, & estimated $100k price tag before stealership markup.

We as Americans will fap that bitch till we are raw, but them snoobie JDM and Euros will still make fun of the lack of dash molesting qualities, rusted pushrods, & leaf springs straight out of horse buggies.

I'm figuring you'll have to shell out close to $150k after the dealer markups to get one of those anytime soon.

Im still torn on the look... ill have to see the hood in person. In the pics its a little flash for me, i like the side scoops on the zo6 better... but shes still hella badass.

I love this car. An extra 100hp and alegidly easyer to drive than the z06. Shame I'll never be able to afford one. I'm with rillix on the hood tho.. dono that I like that bling or not. I definantly do like the spoiler however.

Best part is you're a pulley and a tune away from having 200more hp than a Z06.
SinCityVette
Couple of weeks ago one of our members in Sin City Vettes put his order (deposit) in. Glad they changed the color to gray. But then again i am partial to gray. Going to be one badass looking Vette.
