I love the truck so keeping it would be fine but, it's a little too much vehicle for a work truck,

Obviously DSG is teh best and fastest color and you have a nice "L"........but you're not going to get that for it bro. I wish you would, but there are built turbo, kb, whipple L's, and all stock L's with no miles that can't sell on NLOC and SVTP for 22k and less. Good luck with the sale, but you will probably have to drop your price to at least 21k.

Well thanks for the info and the heads up, i've been banned from both of those forums so i don't really know the Lightning market, just been basing my post on what i owe on the truck against what the Kelley Blue Book guide is (for private party vehicles).

Like i said earlier, keeping would be fine as well so it's like meh, whatever really..
Sounds like the market is more geared for trucks under the $20k mark, if that's the case i'll just keep it for another year and try to bring down my balance a little.

Was talking to a friend over lunch today about this (and i think that's what might have inspired me to do this), he was telling me about an '01 Lightning with the same miles as mine for sale (locally), asking price was $21K.

And i was also pondering what Las Vegas dealerships are selling '04's for, that led me to the thought of the last DSG i saw for sale at the local Acura dealership, it was an '03 with more a lot more miles than mine, lots of door dings too..
(It sold for $25,500).
SVT03
your price isnt too bad at all.. I just got rid of my 01' lightning with 76000 miles and light mods, the dealership sold it for 17k

Like I said, I hope you get more then what you want for it. I don't know you that well, but when we met you seemed like a cool guy. What I was saying, is, on SVTP there are about 20 L's either with KB's, Whipples or Turbo's that can't sell for 22k and then there are a handful of low mile L's on there and they can't sell for 22k either. Everyone wants to pay 20k or less for them. Dealers are a different story, you can get a loan and a warranty thru them. Again, good luck with the sale.
