I sold a coworker a heavily modified '04 cobra back in october and he had cosigned with his gf on the loan. Well.. him and gf are no longer together and he is having a hard time making the payments and the rent. He owes about $25k on it and that is all he planning to do is get out of the loan. So.. if you want a clean, silver '04 Kenne Belled 19k mi cobra for $25 PM me for his cell. There is other work already done on the cobra besides the KB, including exhaust and intake of course and I believe intercooled as well.

The type of Kenne Bell makes a big difference, if it has a 2.8, and the appropriate supporting mods, it is probably a 700hp car.
If it's a 2.2 it's probably a 550hp car.
Supporting mods are important too.

and without the supercharger it might as well be a Focus, since Ford engineers still can't figure out how to squeeze more than 300hp out of their N/A engines...

Here is what he has told me it has so far. He is planning to be out at the next meet so everyone can take a closer look at it.
Fluidyne Intercooler, 2.6 KB Blowzilla, cat delete, SCT MAF, custom X pipe, Flowmaster mufflers, Hurst Short Shifter, unknown suspension brand at this time he is going to put it up on the lift at work later today or this week to determine the brand of suspension parts. As soon as I know more.. and I will try to bring my camera to work tomorrow for pics.. I will post more.

2000 Cobra R - 5.4 L 32v V8 - 385 hp/385tq (Chevy was making 345 from 5.7L in the Vette that Year)
You're right, they still haven't figured out how to do that.

IIRC Ford didn't build that engine, SVT did.
Edit: Not to mention the fact that they made what, a whopping 300 of them?

Just takes a little displacement.
1999-2004 Lincoln Navigator, 4-valve DOHC, 300 hp (224 kW) and 355 lb·ft (481 N·m)
2000 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R, 4-valve DOHC, 385 hp (287 kW) and 385 lb·ft (522 N·m)
2002-2005 Ford Falcon XR8, 4-valve DOHC, 349 hp (260 kW) and 369 lb·ft (500 N·m)
2006-2007 Ford Falcon FPV GT Boss 290, 4-valve DOHC, 389 hp (290 kW) and 384 lb·ft (521 N·m)
2008-2009 Ford Falcon GT Cobra, 4-valve DOHC, 405 hp (302 kW) and 398 lb·ft (540 N·m)
The 4.6L needs a little help, but the 5.4L has no problems with 400 na. There are a handfull of 5.4L 3V swaps out there, that are putting down high 300 low 400 NA.
When you compare the fact that the 5.4L Boss 290 was doing 390 HP, and the same year GM's 6.0L LS2 was only 400... Really makes you 2nd guess the LS motor for a bit... Then you drive one, and you never 2nd guess it again.

The Falcon is an Australian-spec car, not the same IMHO... As mentioned above the Cobra-R was a limited production vehicle that was produced by a sub-company, not exactly a standard option in their vehicles.
IIRC the Australian Holdens also have more horsepower than their American counterparts. Gotta love DOT regs...
I'm just poking fun at FoMoCo in general, would love to see them come out with a mainstream engine that didn't require a supercharger to make good horsepower like GM/Chrysler. I know fully well that you can do some insane things with their blown setups once the aftermarket takes over.
Enough "fun" - didn't mean to drag out this conversation on top of this guy's thread. Sounds like a nice car for sale, wish I wasn't tied up in my current vehicles or I'd be interested myself, even though it can't seat 5...

I drove to Barstow & back on Friday night to drop off my R/T's transmission to be rebuilt... I had 3 people in the car, a transmission in the trunk, plus a bunch of other misc additional weight - for the most part the cruise control was set to 85mph, with sprints up to 110mph - averaged 24mpg for the round trip.
