We will be meeting at Red Rock Sation, on the roof of the East Parking Garage at 12:30PM. (Photo 1)

Red Rock Station is located at Charleston & the 215. The address is 11011 W. Charleston | Las Vegas, NV 89135.

We will leave Red Rock Station at 1:00PM, go behind the casino, under the 215, and snake the backway up to Charleston before we head into Red Rock Canyon. (Photo 2)

We will be taking the 13 mile scenic loop, so bring some cash for the guard at the gate, just incase. There are various stops along the way, some parking lots and some just on the side of the road.

Following the Cruise we will take a similar route back past Red Rock Station to Darren's house at Sahara and Town Center where we he will be BBQing all day for some good eats. (Photo 3) We will provide food and non-alcoholic drinks. You are welcome to bring your own beer but please be responsible.

We need to get a head count for this event so that Danny, Darren, and I make sure we have enough food. I hate to say it but if you arent on the list you may not get any grub so sign up, even if you aren't 100% sure. I'd rather have too much food then not enough.

We also need to decide on what to BBQ. We can do the classic Burgers and Dogs, or we can get fancy and go with Brisket, Pork, Ribs, etc.

I went and double checked the route and parking yesterday, we should be golden. That route will have way less stops then going up to Charleston and over the 215 will, so we should be able to stay toegether.

Consider me a no go for the cruise, but a definite yes for the BBQ. I will be there and will bring $$. I won't get to the BBQ until about 5:30 though.

So, I vote for ribs, and a whole pork loin, maybe some brisket. Brats are good too... The wife will make either a pasta or potato salad (enough for everyone). Bring your own drinks. And we might need people to bring chips and various other things.

I'll be glad to contribute extra if someone is doing something other than just burgers and dogs.. I'll second Darrin's vote on the ribs/brisket/pork loin/brats idea.

Sweet, yeah I'll be chipping in for sure. And yes as of right now he will be bring out the El Camino, I've never seen it but he said something about it being a 4 spd with 4 something gears in the rear and his GF wont ride in it b/c of it just has lap belts so he just installed like a 5point harness racing seat setup I think Going to have to ask him again about it but yeah.

Oh and I need to have +2 now b/c one of my friends from work wants to come with us b/c his wife will be up in minnesota and he'll have nothing to do and he's into cars somewhat. It depends... If you are up front near me it will be a mountian autox. If you hang in the back there will be slowpokes to poke along with ya.

All I can say is.. careful out there. I know some of us can almost be considered mad skills millen.. but torque+slick roads=dangerous.

OK guys, bill ran a bit steep (~$300) but we got the Q covered. What we need now are drinks (I have Pepsi covered), chips (and dips?), sides (potato salad, etc...) and desserts. That and I don't know about what Art and Danny think, but I think it would sure be nice if everyone would bring a few bucks to chip in. See you all there, I'll be at the source of all the wonderful smells up the street.

I'll be bringing some Weinhard Root Beer, Vanilla Cream and Orange Cream.. and about $20. Looking forward to those wonderful smells..
