I first heard about DM from a friend of mine who attended a meeting with some other friends a few weeks back (maybe a month or so now). I used to be a part of LVFBody but faded out when things got busy in other areas of my life and sort of lost sight of the car side of things. Recently I've gotten back into the swing of things thanks to Garth @ LEP and am looking for something more casual. Ive considered LVCFO being that it is similar to my roots, but maybe something different would be better the more i mature.

so anyway a little about me - My name is Chris and Im 24 (only 2mo left, tho). I am a technical support mgr for a video analytics (read CCTV) company based in Europe. My job has me travelling quite a bit so I never really know when I will be here nor there but i try to enjoy my time at home the best I can. I live on the SW side of town so that is more than likely where you will see the car the most.

The car is a 2000 WS.6 Bright Red w/ charcoal BlackBird Stripes. License Plate reads 0to60n5. It used to be my DD, but has since been converted to my weekend driver, although its been a bit different this week.

Performance mods include:

Forged 347
PRC 2.5 5.3L Heads
228/232 .571/.588 113LSA cam
LS6 Intake
FLT LVL5 4L60E
ST-3500 stall
3.73 rear end
etc

more info on the car can be seen @ My Fquick page

Hey Chris,

I met you a LONG while back at one of Travis's LAN parties when you him and Dan were first at Smart Connect. You probably don't remember me, but anyhow - welcome to the forums.

The car sounds strong, what happened with it that it was down for so long? I think your buddy told me at the DM meet but I forgot.

Again - welcome.

it was down due to a misfire on cylinders 5 and 7. I never really had the time or knowledge to diagnose it myself due to traveling with work so it took a back burner until this year. I swapped the head gasket thinking it was bad from all the overheating the car did during the summers but that didnt fix it. I broke down and took it to LEP where garth built the forged engine and swapped it in. The only things that he found were questionable were a broken valve spring and he questioned the cam install. since hes had the car its been solid.
